Getting Ready

In a month's time, I will be somewhere over the Atlantic, on my way to Budapest, to study with Budapest Semesters in Mathematics.
The problem with leaving in a month, is that there's no way I will possibly be ready. More time would most likely not help either. No amount of time could really get me ready. I'm pretty good at relaxing, and letting things happen. For example, I'm willing to find a house based on a vague memory of having been there once before, or end up in a town with an uncertain plan of where I'm sleeping later that night. However, the level of uncertainty about what will happen in a month is overwhelming.
Here is what I don't know:
  1. When (or if) I will get my visa from the Hungarian Consulate
  2. What I will do for my 12 hour layover in Zurich
  3. Who will meet me in Budapest (and where)
  4. Where I will be living for these 100+ days
  5. If I ever will be able to understand any Hungarian
  6. ...
The list could probably go on forever (or at least be added onto continuously for the next month). I guess I'm fine as long as I have some sort of plan, but in this case there's so many unknowns that any plan would completely worthless.
